Bong Bridge, one of the two bridges that connect the neighboring cities. Unlike the John A. Blatnik Bridge farther north, the Bong Bridge allows access for pedestrians and cyclists with a sidewalk separated from motorized traffic by a barrier. Interestingly, the exits for both bridges on I-35 list the control city as ”Wisconsin,” yet in Superior, the control city is always listed as “Duluth” rather than “Minnesota.” Photograph taken in April 2013.
