Provincial Road 229
PR 229 runs east-west across the Interlake region following Road 102N from Winnipeg Beach west past Komarno and Inwood before proceeding north towards Clarkleigh Road (Road 108N) and ending at the junction of PTH 6.
 
Eastern Terminus: Junction of PTH 9 in Winnipeg Beach.
 
Western Terminus: Junction of PTH 6 between Oak Point and Lundar.

RM of Gimli Westbound view west of the junction of PTH 9. The tracks ahead are owned by the CPR and they have given notice to abandon the line. In an earlier era, this line went as far north as Riverton and carried many weekend visitors to and from Winnipeg Beach. Today, the line's only customer is the distillery north of Gimli.
