Hymns of the Oppressed

February 27, 2022

Reflections on the growing freedom movement in Canada:

  • The large number of freedom supporters finally emboldened the CPC caucus to oust Erin O’Toole as leader. Off the leash, CPC MPs are now actually at liberty to criticize the Trudeau government. Imagine that! At long last, the oppressed have a voice at Parliament Hill.

  • Provincial premiers, having long since grown drunk on dictatorial power, have finally begun to backpedal, including Scott “Call the snitch line” Moe, Jason “Have you arrested a pastor today?” Kenney and Doug “Closed for Business” Ford. As Tanya Granic Allen put it, it took 18 wheels and three weeks to turn Ford into a conspiracy theorist. Even Manitoba, the nation’s birthplace of the abhorrent “vaccine passport,” and that unhinged wacko in Quebec are on board.

  • On the heels of an election this summer, Ford is desperately trying to portray himself as a conservative once again in an attempt to win back the support of people in his own party who he so badly betrayed, expecting them to develop a case of amnesia over what he’s done for the past two years. Methinks he’s going to be in for a big surprise on election day.

  • Justin Trudeau has been exposed here and on the world stage as a brutal tyrant who will stop at nothing to suppress peaceful dissent to his illegal authoritarian rule.

  • The “we’re taking your rights away for your safety” narrative has also been exposed. Most Canadians now realize that they’ve been used, abused and lied to by their government and by the medical community.

  • The mainstream media, growing ever desperate, is exposing itself as nothing but a propaganda machine for the government. Their day of reckoning is coming with a new federal Conservative government led by Pierre Poilievre.

  • A new generation of Canadians, young and old, have woken up and will carry a healthy mistrust of all forms of authority to their graves. Government. Politicians. Police. Public health officials. The medical community. No longer is being a doctor or a police officer a profession of honor.

  • Whereas governments have been so skillfully using the “divide and conquer” tactic against us, this movement has given Canadians a cause over which to unite like never before. The silent majority has risen from its two-year slumber. We no longer have to be afraid. We can come out of the closet. It’s cool to be pro-freedom. We’ve also been an example to other nations around the world who are following our lead. For once, we can be proud to be Canadian.
