Canada Unveils New Flag

February 23, 2022

Today, the Central Committee of the Canadian Supreme Soviet (formerly the Liberal Party of Canada) made a historic announcement, unveiling a new national flag.

The Hammer and Sickle replaces the red maple leaf which has been used since 1965.

“This new flag represents an expression of the desire of all Canadians to be recognized worldwide for their progressive values and commitment to equality for all,” said a gender-fluid spokesperson for General Secretary Trudeau and the Central Committee. “It is truly the perfect symbol for the Union of Canadian Soviet Republics.”

Doug Robertovich Ford, President of the Canadian Soviet republic of Ontario, took time away from licking the boots of the General Secretary to offer his comments at the unveiling.

“The General Secretary is doing a magnificent job of reconstructing this nation in his image,” said a spokesman for President Ford. “I can’t speak highly enough of his work. This flag is just another example of his genius. I’m so honored to call him a friend.”

The Hammer and Sickle will officially become the national flag of the UCSR following royal assent.
