Ontario PCs Reveal Campaign Slogan

March 5, 2022

On the heels of the provincial election in June, the ruling Ontario PC Party today unveiled its slogan which they hope will resonate with voters and allow the party to capture a second consecutive majority term.

The proposed billboard featuring the new slogan.

“We got away with ‘For the people’ last time. They bought it, hook, line and sinker. But times have changed. Today, they laugh at it. And ‘Open for Business’ went over like a lead balloon after all we did to crush the private sector,” said a party spokesman. “So, in our desperate attempt to cling to power, the party executive decided that nothing motivates like fear. And what could scare voters more than the thought of Andrea Horwath and the NDP forming government?”

“It’s the only possible way we could flimflam the voters again,” added the spokesman. “Let’s face it, Doug Ford is about as popular as a steaming pile of dog manure. People in our own party would sooner burn their ballots than vote for him. Our MPPs are jumping ship left, right and center. It’s the only trick we’ve got left up our sleeve.”

The billboards are expected to appear throughout the GTA and across the province within the next few weeks.
