Once a continuous highway between Chanhassen and Elk River, MN 101 has two discontinuous segments after the former section of the highway between Rogers and Chanhassen was decommissioned in 1988. That portion of the former MN 101 is currently signed as CSAH 101 in Hennepin County.
Northern Section: Northern Terminus: Junction of US 10/169 in Elk River. Southern Terminus: Junction of I-94 in Rogers. Southern Section: Northern Terminus: Junction of CSAH 62 in Eden Prairie.
