PR 232 travels through the cottage communities of Matlock, Whytewold, and Ponemah before ending in Winnipeg Beach. Though Matlock, Whytewold, and Ponemah were amalgamated as the Village of Dunnottar in 1947, the three communities have still retained their original names.
