Years earlier, the third control city was listed as Lac-Baker until it was changed to “Nouveau-Brunswick.” This change could be confusing for travelers who might think they need to use the two-lane R-289 rather than continue along A-20 and nearby A-85, both much better highways, to continue on to New Brunswick. There is a later sign indicating that this is the tourist route, but it could easily be missed. Photograph taken in June 2023. |
