PTH 68 travels from Ste. Rose du Lac to the junction of PTH 8 west of Hnausa and the western shore of Lake Winnipeg. The highway originally joined PTH 6 at Eriksdale to PTH 8, but was later extended west to cross Lake Manitoba through the narrow straits and connect to PTH 5. The highway took its number from its original western and eastern terminii, PTH 6 and 8. Click here to show the route.
 
Western Terminus: Junction of PTH 5 near Ste. Rose du Lac.
 
Eastern Terminus: Junction of PTH 8 west of Hnausa.
 
Multiplexes: PTH 68 follows PTH 6 for 11 km north of Eriksdale.
