Westbound view past Road 81W. At right is a sign for the Margaret Laurence Home in Neepawa, a Manitoba Star Attraction. Margaret Laurence was a famous author who lived in Neepawa and the home she lived in as a child has been turned into a museum and writers' resource center. Her grave is in Riverside Cemetery in Neepawa and tourists from as far as Japan come to see her grave and the town where her novels were set in. Photograph taken in July 2010. |
