The Jets traded him to the Calgary Cowboys early in the 1976-1977 season, but reacquired him late in the year. He spent most of the 1977-1978 season in Sweden, but he joined the Jets for a third time late in the year in time for the playoffs. He moved on and finished his career with several seasons in Germany. He impressed his teammates with his tireless work ethic and was known for his booming shot from the point. After his playing career, he once owned a sporting goods store in Fort Richmond.
