The Jets purchased the contract of Craig Fisher from the Edmonton Oilers' organization in December 1993 and he spent four games with the Jets before moving on and spending the bulk of the rest of his career in the minor leagues. His last NHL appearance came in 1996-1997 with a four-game stint with the Panthers. Fisher was originally drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers and he spent two seasons in their organization before being traded to the Oilers in May 1991. His career highlight was a 74-goal season with the IHL's Orlando Solar Bears in 1995-1996.
