The Jets signed diminutive winger Bryan Erickson late in the 1989-1990 season and he first appeared with the Jets the following year. He spent four seasons with the Jets, but his tenure with the Jets was marred by injuries that forced him to miss much of the 1991-1992 and 1993-1994 seasons. Erickson broke into the NHL with the Washington Capitals and he spent time with the Los Angeles Kings and Pittsburgh Penguins before joining the Jets. He retired following the 1993-1994 season.
