Traded to Jets with Toronto's 4th round choice in 1993 Entry Draft by Washington Capitals for Pat Elynuik, October 1, 1992.
The Jets acquired winger John Druce from the Washington Capitals prior to the start of the 1992-1993 season and he spent only one season with the Jets before moving on to the Los Angeles Kings. He spent parts of two seasons with the Kings and made his last NHL appearance as a member of the Philadelphia Flyers in 1997-1998. He wound up his playing career with two seasons in Germany. While in Washington, Druce was most noted for scoring 14 goals during the 1990 playoffs in which the Capitals advanced to the conference finals.
