The Jets selected defenseman Jason Doig in the second round of the 1995 Entry Draft and he made his Jets debut in the 1995-1996 season, spending the early part of the year with the Jets before returning to junior hockey. He went on to have many stops in the NHL and the minor leagues before bringing his playing career to a close following the 2007-2008 season.
