Shane Doan was the Jets' last first-round selection and he played a minimal role during their last season in 1995-1996. He moved with the team to Arizona and later in his tenure in the Valley of the Sun, he blossomed into the elite player many thought he would become. He was the last original Jet to remain on the roster of the Arizona-based team.
