The Jets signed defenseman Ross Cory out of the University of British Columbia prior to the 1979-1980 season and he spent three seasons in the Jets' organization. He spent time with the Jets in both the 1979-1980 and 1980-1981 seasons before moving on to finish his brief career in Germany.
