Brian Cadle made the inaugural Jets roster out of training camp in 1972 and became the second former member of the junior Jets to sign with the pro Jets. Though he only played in a part-time role, he enjoyed a cult following and made his mark as a tough hitter. Reyn Davis of the Winnipeg Free Press had this to say about Cadle: “Couldn't play hockey very well, but enjoyed unnerving any rival team”. Cadle was released following the 1972-1973 season and his playing career ended after the following year.
