Selected by Jets in 1973 Professional Draft. Signed as a free agent, May 31, 1977.
Gary Bromley signed a one-year contract with the Jets following the demise of the Calgary Cowboys at the conclusion of the 1976-1977 season. Bromley split time with Joe Daley and the tandem helped backstop the Jets to their second AVCO Cup championship in 1978. Following the 1977-1978 season, Bromley returned to the NHL when he signed with the Vancouver Canucks.
