The Jets selected centerman Alexei Zhamnov in the fourth round of the 1990 Entry Draft and he spent four full seasons with the Jets before moving on to the Chicago Blackhawks. He spent seven full seasons in Chicago and rounded out his playing career with brief stops in Philadelphia and Boston. As a Jet, he topped the 20-goal plateau in each of his four seasons and he was the Jets' leading scorer in 1995.
