Winnipeg's 12th choice, 228th overall, in 1993 Entry Draft. Signed with Jets, August 10, 1993.
The Jets selected centerman Harijs Vitolinsh in the ninth round of the 1993 Entry Draft and he made his Jets debut in 1993-1994 with an eight-game cameo appearance. He moved on and spent the next decade with various teams across Europe, including Sweden and Switzerland. He was originally drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1988, but he did not sign with them and instead played in the Russian league with Dynamo Riga.
