Traded to Jets by Toronto Toros for Steve Cuddie, June, 1973.
The Jets acquired rugged defenseman Ken Stephanson from the Ottawa Nationals/Toronto Toros franchise in exchange for Steve Cuddie during the summer of 1973. He played one season for the Jets, but he missed all of the 1974-1975 season due to back problems and retired. The native of Selkirk, Manitoba played the entire 1972-1973 season with the Nationals following several seasons spent in the minor leagues and with the Canadian National Team.
