Traded to Jets from Edmonton Oilers for Willy Lindstrom, March 7, 1983. Traded to New Jersey Devils for Bob Brooke, September 6, 1990.
Laurie Boschman joined the Jets after being acquired from the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for the popular Willy Lindstrom in March 1983. His career took off in Winnipeg and he quickly became an integral member of the Jets over the course of the next seven seasons. He was noted for being an outstanding faceoff man and in addition to his contributions on the scoreboard, he racked up more penalty minutes than any other Jet in history. Following his trade to the Devils, he played three more seasons in the NHL before a seven-game stint in Britain brought a close to his distinguished career.
