Traded to Jets by Boston Bruins for Brent Ashton, October 29, 1991.
The Jets acquired Petri Skriko from the Boston Bruins in October 1991 and he played briefly for the Jets in 1991-1992 before making his last NHL stop one year later as a member of the San Jose Sharks. He moved on and finished his playing career with stops in Finland and Denmark. Skriko was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks late in the 1981 Entry Draft and after making his NHL debut in 1984-1985, he played parts of seven seasons with the Canucks before being traded to the Bruins.
