The Jets signed defenseman Darryl Shannon during the summer of 1993 and he remained with the Jets until being dealt to the Buffalo Sabres in February 1996. He spent the next three seasons in Buffalo before moving on and making brief appearances with three NHL teams. He wound up his playing career with three seasons in Germany.
