Traded to Jets by Philadelphia Flyers for Tim Cheveldae and Winnipeg's 3rd round choice in 1996 Entry Draft, February 27, 1996.
The Jets acquired goaltender Dominic Roussel from the Philadelphia Flyers in late February 1996 and he spent the rest of the 1995-1996 season with the Jets. That summer, he re-signed with the Flyers and spent one more season in their organization before bouncing around several stops in the NHL and in Germany. He retired following the 2002-2003 season. Roussel was originally drafted by the Flyers in 1988 and made his NHL debut in 1991-1992. He appeared in a career-high 60 games with the Flyers in 1993-1994.
