Signed as a free agent, September 27, 1985. Traded to Edmonton Oilers for future considerations, September 28, 1989.
The Jets signed goaltender Eldon “Pokey” Reddick prior to the 1985-1986 season and he surprisingly made the team a year later, teaming with Daniel Berthiaume to form the famed “Pokey and the Bandit” tandem. After a stellar 1986-1987 season, his performance declined and he moved on and spent the majority of the next 14 seasons split between the minor leagues and Germany. During the 1999 IHL playoffs, he walked out on the Kansas City Blades and head coach and former teammate Paul MacLean.
