The Jets acquired defenseman Stephane Quintal from the St. Louis Blues prior to the start of the 1993-1994 season and he spent two full seasons with the Jets before being dealt to the Montreal Canadiens in the summer of 1995. He went on to play with the New York Rangers and Chicago Blackhawks along with a second tour of duty in Montreal before winding up his playing career with a season in Italy in 2004-2005. He was originally drafted by the Boston Bruins in 1987 and he spent parts of four seasons in Boston before being dealt to the Blues.
