Traded to Jets by New York Rangers for Guy Larose, January 22, 1991.
The Jets acquired defenseman Rudy Poeschek from the New York Rangers in January 1991 and he made brief cameo appearances with the Jets over the next two seasons. He moved on and spent time with the Tampa Bay Lightning and St. Louis Blues before winding up his playing career after the 2000-2001 season. He was originally drafted by the Rangers in 1985 and he made his NHL debut with them in 1987-1988.
