The Jets acquired winger Greg Paslawski from the St. Louis Blues in the summer of 1989 and he spent parts of two seasons with the Jets until being dealt to the Buffalo Sabres in February 1991. He moved on and played for the Sabres, Quebec Nordiques, Philadelphia Flyers, and Calgary Flames before winding up his playing career in the minor leagues following the 1995-1996 season. He broke into the NHL as an undrafted free agent with the Montreal Canadiens in 1983-1984 and he established himself as an NHL player with the St. Louis Blues.
