Following an injury-plagued campaign in 1971-1972, Milt Black signed with the Jets in August 1972, becoming the first graduate of the junior Jets to sign with the pro Jets. He was a regular on the 1972-1973 team that advanced to the AVCO Cup final, but his role diminished over the next two seasons and he moved on to Sweden following the 1974-1975 season where he finished his playing career.
