Traded to Jets by Minnesota Fighting Saints for Perry Miller, January 22, 1976.
The Jets acquired veteran defenseman Gerry Odrowski from the Minnesota Fighting Saints in January 1976 and he added some valuable depth to the defense corps in a part-time role as the Jets went on to capture their first AVCO Cup championship that year. He retired following the 1975-1976 season. Odrowski had a long pro career that began in 1960-1961 with the Detroit Red Wings and he made numerous NHL and WHA stops before being dealt to the Jets.
