The Jets selected defenseman Boris Mironov in the second round of the 1992 Entry Draft and he made his Jets debut in 1993-1994. Late that season, the Jets traded him to the Edmonton Oilers and he remained with the Oilers until being dealt to the Chicago Blackhawks in March 1999. After nearly four years in Chicago, he was traded to the New York Rangers, where he made his last NHL stop. He last saw action in his native Russia in 2006-2007.
