The Jets signed defenseman Oleg Mikulchik in the summer of 1993 and he spent two seasons in the Jets' organization before signing with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the summer of 1995. He spent one season with the Mighty Ducks in his last NHL stop, then he moved on to play one more season in the minor leagues to wind up the North American part of his career. He played with numerous teams in Germany, Russia, and his native Belarus over the next decade and retired after the 2006-2007 season. Prior to joining the Jets, he spent eight seasons with Moscow Dynamo.
