The Jets claimed goaltender Lindsay Middlebrook from the New York Rangers in the Expansion Draft. He spent two seasons in the Jets' organization before being sold to the Minnesota North Stars in the summer of 1981. He bounced around two other organizations and several stops in the minor leagues before winding up his playing career after the 1985-1986 season.
