The Jets selected lanky defenseman Brad Berry in the second round of the 1983 Entry Draft and he made his Jets debut following three seasons at the University of North Dakota. He played parts of five seasons with the Jets before moving on to the Minnesota North Stars. He remained with the Stars' organization following their move to Dallas and he played five more seasons in their farm system to bring his playing career to a close.
