Winnipeg's 2nd choice, 74th overall, in 1982 Entry Draft.
The Jets selected rugged winger Tom Martin in the fourth round of the 1982 Entry Draft and he made his Jets debut in the 1984-1985 season. Following parts of three seasons with the Jets, he moved on and spent time with the Hartford Whalers and Minnesota North Stars and their respective minor league farm teams. Martin's last action came with a seven-game stint in Germany in 1991-1992. He was most noted for being traded for a used bus while in junior hockey.
