Winnipeg's 1st choice, 16th overall, in 1987 Entry Draft. Traded to Chicago Blackhawks with Chris Norton for Troy Murray and Warren Rychel, July 22, 1991.
The Jets selected defenseman Bryan Marchment in the first round of the 1987 Entry Draft and after three seasons in the Jets' organization, the Jets traded him to the Chicago Blackhawks in the summer of 1991. Over the course of the next 14 seasons, Marchment became a feared hitter and was known as one of the dirtiest players in the game. He last saw action in 2005-2006 as a member of the Calgary Flames, his ninth and final NHL team.
