Winnipeg's 5th choice, 85th overall, in 1981 Entry Draft.
Following three seasons at the University of Wisconsin, Marc Behrend made his Jets debut late in the 1983-1984 season. He spent most of the following season as Brian Hayward's backup and he backstopped the Jets to a victory in Game 4 in Calgary as the Jets clinched their first NHL playoff series win. His brief career came to an end following the 1986-1987 season.
