Winnipeg's 13th round choice, 166th overall, in 1975 WHA Amateur Draft. Signed as a free agent, June 19, 1981.
After being selected by the Jets in the 1975 WHA Amateur Draft, the Jets finally signed winger Bengt Lundholm during the summer of 1981. He played four seasons for the Jets and during that time, he dazzled fans and players alike with his playmaking and passing skills, but his reluctance to shoot the puck perpetually frustrated the Jets. He returned to his native Sweden in 1985-1986, but returned to the Jets late in the season for their stretch run. Lundholm retired following one final season in Sweden.
