Winnipeg's 3rd choice, 52nd overall, in 1988 Entry Draft. Traded to Buffalo Sabres for Christian Ruuttu and future considerations, June 15, 1992. Traded to Jets by Chicago Blackhawks for Christian Ruuttu, August 10, 1992. Traded to Philadelphia Flyers for future considerations, October 1, 1992. Traded to Jets by Philadelphia Flyers for future considerations, June 11, 1993.
The Jets selected goaltender Stephane Beauregard in the third round of the 1988 Entry Draft. Though he spent most of his career in the minor leagues, as a Jet, he became best known for the number of times he was re-acquired by the Jets. After being traded to the Buffalo Sabres, the Jets re-acquired him twice. Following his third tenure with the Jets, he finished his playing career with a number of stops in the minor leagues and in Europe. He listed former Montreal Canadiens' superstar Guy Lafleur as his childhood idol.
