The Jets acquired defenseman Randy Legge from the defunct Baltimore Blades franchise in June 1975 and he played one game for the Jets before being dealt to the Cleveland Crusaders in exchange for Lyle Moffat. He finished his playing career the following season as a member of the San Diego Mariners. He made his major pro debut as a member of the New York Rangers in 1972-1973 after spending six seasons in the minor leagues.
