Traded to Jets with Edmonton's 10th round choice in 1992 Entry Draft by Edmonton Oilers for Winnipeg's 5th round choice in 1991 Entry Draft, June 12, 1991.
The Jets acquired winger John LeBlanc from the Edmonton Oilers in the summer of 1991 and he played four seasons in the Jets' organization, making brief appearances with the Jets over the course of that time. He made his NHL debut in 1986-1987 with the Vancouver Canucks and moved on to the Oilers' organization before sitting out the 1990-1991 season. After leaving the Jets, he played four seasons in the minor leagues before ending his playing career.
