Winnipeg's 2nd choice, 31st overall, in 1993 Entry Draft.
The Jets selected goaltender Scott Langkow in the second round of the 1993 Entry Draft. Following four seasons in junior hockey with the Portland Winter Hawks, Langkow joined the Jets' organization in 1995-1996 and appeared in relief of Tim Cheveldae on 7 December 1995. He remained with the organization when the Jets relocated to Arizona and spent three more years there until being dealt to the Atlanta Thrashers in the summer of 1999. He played in 15 games with the Thrashers in 1999-2000, but spent the rest of his time in the Thrashers' organization in the minor leagues. Langkow was traded to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and spent parts of two seasons in their system before going to Europe and making various stops in Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, and Germany.
