Selected by Jets in 1973 Professional Draft. Signed as a free agent, December 1, 1977.
The Jets offered winger Dave Kryskow a tryout early in the 1977-1978 season and he subsequently earned a contract for the rest of the year. He was a versatile role player who sometimes filled in on the blue line as the Jets went on to capture their second AVCO Cup championship after his one season in a Jets uniform. He retired following the 1977-1978 season. Kryskow was originally drafted by the Chicago Black Hawks in 1971 and he split 231 NHL games between the Black Hawks, Washington Capitals, Detroit Red Wings, and Atlanta Flames before signing with the Calgary Cowboys in 1976-1977.
