The Jets selected winger Tavis Hansen in the third round of the 1994 Entry Draft and he played his only game in a Jets uniform in 1995. He remained with the relocated franchise in Arizona, where he appeared in 33 NHL games over the course of five seasons. He moved on and spent the next three seasons in the AHL before finishing his playing career in Austria.
