The Jets selected winger Ravil Gusmanov in the fourth round of the 1993 Entry Draft and after two seasons in the Jets' organization, he made his debut with the Jets in 1995-1996. The Jets dealt him to the Chicago Blackhawks at the trading deadline that year and he went on to spend most of the rest of his career, one that lasted nearly two decades, back in his native Russia.
