The Jets selected winger Michal Grosek in the sixth round of the 1993 Entry Draft and he spent parts of three seasons in the Jets' organization before being traded to the Buffalo Sabres late in the 1995-1996 season. He spent four years with the Sabres and moved on to play with the Blackhawks, Rangers, and Bruins before finishing up his playing career with stops in Switzerland and Russia.
