The Jets selected defenseman Guy Gosselin late in the 1982 Entry Draft and after five seasons at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and one season with the U.S.A. national team, he joined the Jets for a brief five-game appearance in 1987-1988. He spent the next two seasons in the Jets' organization before moving on and spending the next four seasons split between Europe and the minor leagues to wind up his playing career.
