U.S. Highway 61
U.S. Highway 61 enters Minnesota at La Crescent and follows the Mississippi River north, travelling through Saint Paul on its way to its northern terminus at Wyoming. The route previously continued north to Duluth and along the north shore of Lake Superior, but the route was decommissioned and transferred to state control in 1991. The portion of the route between Duluth and the Canadian border is now known as MN 61.

Southern Entrance: Mississippi River crossing between La Crescent and La Crosse, WI.

Northern Terminus: Junction of I-35 in Wyoming.

Pictures are arranged from south to north.
